KFS adalah komunitas pecinta seni Fotografi di Semarang. Dalam komunitas ini tidak mengenal lagi pembeda-pembeda yang membuat terkotak-kotak, tidak ada beda status sosial, tidak ada pembeda merk camera, tidak ada pembeda dari club manapun, tidak ada pembeda antara senior dan junior, tidak ada pembeda asal daerah, tidak ada pembeda profesional dan amatir, dan pembeda-pembeda lainnya.
Saat berkunjung di sela-sela acara ngabuburit ke 2 yang dilaksanakan di jalan Pahlawan, dot”S” mendapat kesempatan mengenal komunitas ini. Kebenaran saat kesana, bisa bertemu dengan mas Hanung di bagian workshop pendidikan,” komunitas ini sudah berdiri sekitar 4 tahun yang lalu”, katanya. “Sedangkan ketua KFS sendiri adalah mas Endarto”, lanjutnya.
Anggotanya sendiri sekitar 2 ribu orang bila melihat status anggota di website. Nah, kebenaran acara kali ini adalah ingin lebih mengenal anggota lainnya. Biasanya anggota yang udah gabung di website belum pernah ketemu langsung. Jadi acara ini tujuannya seperti kopdar, Mas Hanung menjelaskan.
Member KFS ada 2 macam :
Member Maya / Member ID : member maya adalah member yang sifat keanggotaanya hanya begabung dalam website maupun milis saja. Jika Ingin Menjadi Member ID persyaratan hanya melakukan Verifikasi ID via Website KFSemarang secara online dan menunggu Approval dari Sie Membership.
Member Darat / KFSID (KFS Card): Member darat adalah member yang sifat keanggotaannya bergabung secara tatap muka bukan sekedar list nama/avatar saja tetapi sudah pada tahap perkenalan langsung. Persyaratan menjadi Member KFSID (KFS Card) adalah mengikuti minimal 3 kali Hunting yang diadakan oleh KFS dan terdaftar secara resmi di Website KFS serta mengikuti minimal 3 kali Gathering KFS.

Menjadi anggota KFS ternyata banyak keuntungannya loh. Misalnya dengan KFS card ini, kamu bisa menikmatin kartu ini sebagai kartu diskon di sejumlah merchant, peminjaman alat inventaris KFS dan juga potongan khusus untuk kegiatan-kegiatan fotografis KFS
